ELA 10B explores identity, the diversity of being, social responsibility and social action, justice and fairness, while teaching the skills of effective communication of your thoughts and ideas through written and oral mediums.
Students will gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their constructed worlds, nature, and how they can become agents of change. ELA B10 will use foundational stories, poetry, non-fiction/fiction novels and the play Macbeth.
Note: This course is for students who began Grade 10 prior to September 2024 and is only available in the asynchronous course. Students beginning Grade 10 in September 2024 or later are advised to take ELA A10 online either in the live broadcast or asynchronous course.
